LEAKING FACADE - LEAK INVESTIGATION - ROOFING
R&H Plumbing Solutions were engaged to carry out the investigation into 25 separate leaks at Concavo Docklands.
This was challenging due to the complexity of tracing each leak's origin, water can travel through hidden paths and enter from multiple points. The structure's design, material selection, and environmental factors complicated the process, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of water ingress.
All findings were compiled in a detailed report and provided to our client as part of our service.
A new flashing system had to be carefully designed to address these specific issues, requiring precision to ensure long-term durability and performance. The solution involved not only identifying the root causes but also ensuring the design prevents future leaks without creating new problems whilst maintaining the aesthetics of the existing facade.

LEAK INVESTIGATION - DEFECT RECTIFICATION
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a world class luxury wellness sanctuary located in the heart of Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. R&H Plumbing Solutions played a crucial role in rectifying defects related to issues with Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs), which were experiencing excessive condensation. This condensation had caused significant damage to the facility.
The R&H team began by conducting a thorough investigation of the ERV system. We pinpointed the issue to improper drainage & ventilation design within the ERVs, leading to condensation build-up, which had not been properly addressed during initial installation. The condensation overflowed, leaking into the building structure and causing damage. Acting quickly we developed a solution to the problem and executed it in a timely manner ensuring minimal disruption to the running of the thermal springs and spas.
